Hi there,
I must say that I am far from your average telemarketer or cold caller. If I had to use military terminology, I would be your long range, highly trained "high value target" sniper on the phone. For more than two decades I have honed my skills - starting at the ripe age of 20 when I made my first cold calls (I set up 12 meetings out of my first 13 calls - and from my college dorm room, no less!). I was regularly getting through to Senior VP's and even a few CEO's by the age of 23. I specialize in promoting unique products or services (within their respective industries) to prospects that typically would not give 5 split seconds on the phone to some anonymous cold caller. This is my forté, my sweet spot - actually, it's my "c-suite" spot, so to speak.
All in all, I made over 100,000 cold calls in my twenties alone as I built my small company from a basement operation to a million in annual sales in 4 years flat. Great fun! And i still enjoy nearly every second of the process a couple decades down the track.
